When I first published in 1978 COMMUNITIES was a traditional magazine-format guide to new homes. For 31 years we grew in size and format, won all the awards in our industry and always kept our commitment to providing complete data on every community - not just advertisers, not just one builder, not just “selected” communities. We list all new home communities.

In the mid 1990’s in the earliest days of the world wide web everything we published in the magazine also became available on the web.

Today, Communities Magazine Online continues to be an invaluable new home shopping tool for both buyers and real estate agents. Our information is searchable, easy-to-use and logically-arranged. Photos are large and plentiful. And, we make access to builder websites quick, direct and unhindered by restrictive site registrations. We aim to make new home shopping smooth and enjoyable.
